I completed my Psychology BSc. (Hons.) degree at Liverpool University in 1997. I subsequently completed my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (D. Clin. Psych) at the University of East London in 2003. I have also completed an Intermediate Certificate in Systemic and Family Psychotherapy which allows me to practice as a Systemic Practitioner.

I worked for many years with children and young people with physical health conditions in two large London teaching hospitals, Kings College Hospital and University College Hospital. I then moved to work with children and young people in the local Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) across Tunbridge Wells and Maidstone in Kent.
Whilst working with CAMHS, I was a member of the Eating Disorders Team, and this remains an area of special interest and focus of mine in my private practice.
